Opening film created by Pretty Damn Sweet for Adobe MAX 2025.
Pretty Damn Sweet developed the full Opening Film for Adobe MAX 2025, a fast-paced piece built around bold visuals, energetic transitions, and a strong narrative rhythm that set the tone for the conference.
I joined the team to contribute to three specific sections, focusing on design development and motion work that needed to integrate cleanly into a large, tightly coordinated sequence.
My role
I designed and animated three sections of the film, covering visual concept development, look definition for my assigned moments, asset preparation, and animation passes aligned with the direction established by the PDS team.
The focus was on making visual decisions that could lock quickly and hold once they were in place.
Creative approach
I built the designs by closely matching the project’s visual system, maintaining consistency in color, lighting, composition, and camera language.
For animation, I worked to match the editorial tempo, shaping transitions and motion phrasing so the sections read clearly and flowed naturally within the broader structure of the film.
Outcome
The sequences were incorporated into the final Adobe MAX 2025 Opening Film premiered at the conference.
Because visual and motion decisions were aligned early, the work integrated smoothly into the full piece, supporting pacing, continuity, and delivery without late-stage adjustment.
